People are giving Wilson money to thank him for killing an unarmed black teenager. Please report this to GoFundMe, as it violates their Terms of Service and they get 5% of the tens of thousands of dollars being donated. Click to report.
This is my message, in case you want to copy and paste:
Your Terms of Service prohibit “items that promote… hate, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime.” Take a look at the comments that come with the donations on this page and tell me that doesn’t violate your terms. “Support Officer Wilson” is a thin veil for people rewarding Wilson for killing a black kid.
I was asked to reblog this, info on how to get his gofundme removed for those interested.
Aaaand here’s all ten Ohio Biomes spreads, sunrise to sunset! I’m not sure I can put into words how much I learned from this experience- from crash courses in texture rendering to communicating with printers -but I’m delighted to have been a part of it. And thank you all for the touching feedback over the past two weeks- it’s been a joy. :)
I’ll post some updates to this blog when the free educator’s/standalone edition of this magazine is printed and distributed- I need to work out a few kinks regarding regional orders and the like. Again, thank you for the kind words, all!
rowkeyyyyy you’re so gooood
Hello! Do u know any animators/board artists workin in the industry that haven't attended calarts/went 2 not-as-prestigious/no art school at all? I wanna work in animation but Im afraid if I dont go 2 cal arts or similars Ill hardly get a job
Hi! Hello! I didn’t go to Calarts, I went to SVA! That being said I know PLENTY of people in the industry who haven’t gone to Calarts. Shit, I know plenty of people who never went to college at all or who majored in non-art fields (economics? premed??! political science?!?!). It’s not about where you went to school but how good your portfolio is.
Art college isn’t for everyone! I’m confident enough to say that i’d be in the same position whether or not I went, and many times I wish I hadn’t. As long as you’re passionate to improve and you’re disciplined you can learn all you need to know online. That being said, I’m not saying you should NEVER take art classes. But you don’t have to pay a uni 40k a year to take 3 essential classes that cost 2k.
Can you make some gifs of the Learnerer's "moves" against WordGirl in "Hard-Learned Money"? I just thought his derpy moves were funny. Please and thank you.
sorry these are so incredibly late
ppsst… Weird Al’s The Learnerer character will be making another appearance in season 8 ;)
So here’s something fun I was hoping some people on here might wanna take part in…
I was talking to jigglykat in the car today about how quickly the summer’s going by and it made me wonder how people imagine the year in their head, if they do at all. I think about a calendar year visually, and…
And this one is mine! I view my calendar as a squished oval with summer and winter towards the more narrow ends. Which doesn’t quite work with how winter ACTUALLY is because it pretty much last six months here…
feelings come very strongly with how i see the weather since i’m very affected by the weather, mood wise
Okay. interesting. so, like I see a year as if I were standing on a mountain looking out over a landscape, where there are sharp points of birthdays/holidays and then sort of color/flavor blurrs for seasons (like if you were to see that season in the landscape: so, reds and oranges for fall). I generally only envision 2 seasons ahead of the now, and it’s like I could look through one season to see the next one. the mountain is now (late summer) and you don’t necessarily see the place you stand on, but you feel it. and if you’re at a lookout point on that great metaphorical mountain, you see the land in front of you, but you don’t experience it. And you can only see so far as the atmosphere/physical obstruction will let you. So, as of right now, I feel the summer (it’s hot and gross rn) and I am really excited because I can see fall in the landscape (and envision it all!) and I can sort of make out that winter is off on the horizon. And there’s birthday mountain looming quite close with halloween in the distance.
That’s the best I can describe it, even though I don’t actually envision mountains or anything, that’s the general feeling…
neat!! I love hearing how other people think. I’m also adding in some of the text replies this post has gotten:
